Don't Give Up

One Monday morning I found myself struggling. It was menu-making morning and what I thought should have been a simple task ended up taking me hours...

...I was ready to give up.

You see, I'm not one of those born organized people for whom this stuff comes naturally. At heart I am a free spirited slob for whom having a routine means doing whatever I want to whenever I want to.

But I guess you can figure out how that was working for me.

Oh, making menus works...it saves our family a ton of money...it is the PROCESS of making menus that I found frustrating.

Looking back, I recognize that I have a tendency to make the whole thing too difficult. It really isn't (and it's ME I'm trying to convince). Making a menu is SO much easier than the old evening routine of pacing-between-the-pantry-and-fridge-in-indecision-for-an-hour-or-until-something-finally-jumps-out-at-me or until I get mad and make the same old hamburger goulash.

In the coming weeks I hope to present material that helps you make menus that are relatively carefree AND save you a significant amount of money! It doesn't have to be difficult!
